three stalks celery, sliced
half pound clean mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 apples, cored and diced
1 (4 ounce) can water chestnuts, tired and chopped
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup chook broth
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of bird soup
3/4 cup applesauce
half teaspoon salt to flavor
1 teaspoon floor black pepper
1 pound dry bread cubes
