Asian Noodle Bowl with Sausage and Kale

"Sauteed hickory smoked sausage slices, chopped mushrooms and candy pepper with chopped kale are served over rice noodles topped with sesame seeds."

Ingredients :

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 (13 ounce) bundle Farmland® Hickory Smoked Sausage, bias-sliced
  • three cups sliced sparkling mushrooms
  • 1 red candy pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • four cloves garlic, minced
  • three cups decreased-sodium hen broth
  • 1/4 cup decreased-sodium soy sauce
  • three cups chopped sparkling kale
  • 1 cup clean bean sprouts
  • 12 ounces dried rice noodles, cooked according to package and tired
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Crushed pink pepper flakes

Instructions :

Prep : Cook : 6M Ready in : 25M
  • In a four- to five-quart pot, warmth oil over medium-high warmness. Add smoked sausage. Cook and stir for two to 3 minutes or till browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Add mushrooms, sweet pepper, ginger, and garlic to pot. Cook and stir for six to eight mins or until mushrooms are browned and any liquid has evaporated. Add broth and soy sauce to pot. Bring to a boil. Add kale; lessen warmth. Cook, uncovered, for three minutes or till wilted. Stir in sprouts and smoked sausage; warmth through.
  • Serve over rice noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds and beaten crimson pepper.
